Description

Job Opportunity: Nursing (Contract)

Location: Fort Defiance, Arizona
Facility: Tsehootsooi Medical Center

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in the nursing specialty being applied for
  • Circular experience in the specialty required (sometimes more experience may be needed)

Certifications Required

  • American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Shift Information

  • Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • On-call approximately one overnight per week
  • On-call approximately one weekend every 5 weeks

Additional Information

  • Travelers may be expected to float to other departments where qualified
  • Floating duties may include taking a patient load if experienced and competent, or task-oriented duties such as answering call lights and phones

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Orientation

  • Orientation is held on Mondays only
  • Compliance deadlines must be met or orientation will be rescheduled to the following Monday
