Description

Job Opportunity: Therapy/Rehabilitation - Travel/Contract

Location: Sunnyside, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Employment Type: Travel/Contract


Schedule

  • Flexible scheduling options available: either 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (5x8) or 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts (4x10).

Licensure & Certifications

  • Washington State License (can be pending at time of submission).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Advanced certifications may be required depending on unit (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC) — refer to specific unit job descriptions.
  • Professional certifications relevant to the specialty (e.g., RDMS for Ultrasound Techs, ASCP for Medical Lab Techs) required as applicable.

Background & Verification Requirements

  • 10-year criminal background check including SSN trace, alias/name changes, statewide and national checks.
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start.
  • Education verification and transcript/diploma copies required.
  • Washington State Patrol (WSP/WATCH) search required within 30 days of start.
  • NURSYS verification required for RN and LPN licenses.
  • Employment application and 3 recent employment references required.

Health & Immunization Requirements

  • Physical exam with physician-signed health statement within 1 year of start.
  • Fit testing for N95 masks performed onsite; required for certain units.
  • Immunizations or titers required for:
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
    • Measles (Rubeola)
    • Mumps
    • Rubella
    • Hepatitis B
    • Varicella
  • Negative TB test (QGold or T-SPOT) within 30 days of start; chest X-ray if positive.
  • Annual TB questionnaire.
  • Drug screening within 30 days of start (10-panel, no instant tests).
  • Seasonal flu vaccination required by November 1st or signed declination (mask required if declined).
  • COVID-19 vaccination required (including full vaccination); medical and religious exemptions reviewed case-by-case with masking and testing protocols if approved.
  • COVID-19 booster preferred but not required.

Facility-Specific Requirements

  • Photo for badge (headshot on plain white background).
  • Completion of Code of Conduct Acknowledgement and other onboarding documents prior to start.
  • Fit test onsite after orientation.
  • Professional Assault Crisis Training (ProAct) required within 6 months for Behavioral Health RNs.
  • Suicide Prevention Training and demographic attestation required for compact license holders.

Additional Notes

  • Candidates must notify facility and manager of any latex allergies.
  • Some certifications and requirements may vary by unit; candidates should review unit-specific job descriptions for details.
  • Documentation must be uploaded and completed within specified timeframes to ensure compliance.
