Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech - Travel Position

Location: Aurora, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel


Unit Information

  • Unit: Interventional Radiology (IR)
  • Hospital Beds: 272
  • IR Suites: 2
  • Staffing:
    • IR Techs: 4 (Day Shift)
    • RNs: 6 total (4-5 on Day Shift)
    • Night Shift: On call
  • Patient Ratios: Estimated 1:1 to 3:1 (not guaranteed)
  • Equipment: GE
  • EMR System: Meditech

Schedule

  • Shift: Day Shift, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Required Certifications & Licenses

  • ACLS
  • ARRT Certification
  • BLS
  • Registered Nurse License

Experience Requirements

  • Years of Experience in Specialty: 2 years
  • Prior Travel Experience: Not specified / not required

Skills & Qualifications

  • Must Have:
    • VI certification or CVIR
  • Preferred:
    • Neuro experience
    • Experience in a Thrombectomy center

Typical Procedures

  • Basic IR procedures such as drains to neuro
  • Complex cases including sirspheres, tumor ablation, spine jack, etc.
