Respiratory Therapist (Travel Assignment)

Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Work Hours: Option for 36 or 48 hours per week (specify preference)
Weekend Requirement: 13 weekend shifts out of 26
On-Call: None
Holiday Work: Required to work at least one observed or non-traditional holiday (e.g., Easter, Mother's Day)
Float Requirement: May be floated or reassigned within clinical competence to other areas or facilities within 35 miles

Qualifications

Education

• Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Cardiopulmonary

Licensure/Certification

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Required Clinical Experience

• Minimum 5 years as RRT (overall specialty experience)
• Minimum 3 years Pediatric ICU
• Minimum 3 years Neonatal ICU
• Minimum 2 years Pediatric ED
• Minimum 1 year Pediatric Level 1 Trauma

Required Certifications

• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS
• NRP

Travel Experience

• Prior travel assignment experience is required

Additional Information

• No requested time off (RTO) approved within the first two weeks of assignment
• Medical and religious exemptions allowed for seasonal influenza vaccination
• Blackout dates for time off: 2/7-2/15, 3/22-3/28, 4/3-4/7, 5/10-5/20
