Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology (Travel/Contract)
Location: Paramus, New Jersey
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Interview required prior to offer.
- Shift schedule:
- Monday to Friday, between 6:30 am and 6:30 pm
- Combination of 5 days of 8-hour shifts and 4 days of 10-hour shifts
- No weekends or federal holidays
- No 12-hour shifts considered
- Short call rotation every 4 weeks starting at 6:30 pm to finish cases
Requirements
- Credentials: RCIS or ARRT
- New Jersey State license required if ARRT credential is held
- BLS and ACLS certifications required to start
- Electrophysiology (EP) experience required
Experience
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

- Core Competency Exams (Parts I, II, III) required annually with 80% passing score
- Color Blind Testing (Ishihara test) within 1 year of assignment start
Health & Compliance Requirements
- Physical exam within 72 hours of contract signing, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NP
- Fit mask test within 72 hours of contract signing (N95 or equivalent)
- Immunizations and titers within 72 hours of contract signing:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (preferred, not required)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray (annual or as specified)
- Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella (proof of 2 MMR vaccinations or positive titer)
- Hepatitis B surface antibody titer or declination
- Varicella (proof of 2 vaccinations or positive titer)
- Drug testing: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 72 hours of contract signing (no pending tests)
- Seasonal flu vaccination mandatory (no declinations accepted)
- COVID-19 vaccination: Completed series and booster required if eligible
Background & Verification
- 7-year background check required within 6 months of start, including:
- County, statewide, national criminal, sex offender, OIG sanction, SAM.gov, OFAC sanctions
- Employment verification for last 7 years required, completed 2 Fridays prior to start
- Two references required:
- One from a supervisor/manager within 12 months
- One from within 3 years
- Education verification and diploma required (third-party verification)
- Skills checklist and unit-specific competencies required
Additional Notes
- No 12-hour shifts or weekend work
- Short call rotation every 4 weeks
- Local rate applies within 75 miles of facility (informational only)
