Job Details

- Patient Care: Experience with adult, ER, ICU, OB, and portable ultrasound; care across neonate to geriatric populations
- Equipment Used: PACS, Phillips, Siemens, SonoSite
- Certifications Required:
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
Required Certifications (As Applicable)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- CHEMO (Chemotherapy certification)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Valid State License with primary source verification
- Background checks including 7-year history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG
- Education verification (transcript or diploma acceptable if verification pending)
- Drug screening (10-panel, negative within 90 days)
- Physical exam within 12 months
- Fit mask test within 1 year, renewed annually
- Immunizations and titers:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: positive titer or 2 vaccines
- Hepatitis B: positive titer, series, or declination accepted
- Varicella: positive titer, 2 vaccines, or documented chickenpox history
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (required during flu season)
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (declinations not accepted)

- Unit-specific skills checklist annually
- Work history verification for the past 7 years
- Complete employment application/resume

- Orientation safety manual acknowledgment and HIPAA compliance
