Patient Types / Common Diagnoses
- Cardiac Catheterization (Coronary Disease) STEMI
- Peripheral Catheterization (Peripheral Artery Disease), including AAA Repairs
- Electrophysiology (Arrhythmias) Studies, Ablations, and Device Implants
Required Licenses & Certifications
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Illinois Radiology Technologist License
Skills & Responsibilities
- Scrub into procedures with Procedural Physician
- Support intra-procedure workflows
- Operate imaging equipment
- Maintain sterile technique
- Familiarity with Cath/EP/IR supplies and equipment
- Radiation safety knowledge

Orientation
- New Employee Orientation (NEO)
- 2 days departmental orientation
Scheduling
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday (4 ten-hour shifts per week, day off varies)
- Schedule Cycle: 6 weeks
- Weekend Rotation: 1 weekend on-call per month
- On-Call: 1-2 nights per week plus 1 weekend call per month (Friday 5:30 PM – Monday 7:00 AM)
- Holiday Expectation: 1 major holiday during contract
- Return to Office (RTO) Requests: Up to 7 days possible if contract extended, depending on dates
