Patient Types / Common Diagnoses

• Cardiac Catheterization (Coronary Disease) STEMI
• Peripheral Catheterization (Peripheral Artery Disease), including AAA Repairs
• Electrophysiology (Arrhythmias) Studies, Ablations, and Device Implants

Required Licenses & Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• Illinois Radiology Technologist License

Skills & Responsibilities

• Scrub into procedures with Procedural Physician
• Support intra-procedure workflows
• Operate imaging equipment
• Maintain sterile technique
• Familiarity with Cath/EP/IR supplies and equipment
• Radiation safety knowledge

Orientation

• New Employee Orientation (NEO)
• 2 days departmental orientation

Scheduling

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday (4 ten-hour shifts per week, day off varies)
• Schedule Cycle: 6 weeks
• Weekend Rotation: 1 weekend on-call per month
• On-Call: 1-2 nights per week plus 1 weekend call per month (Friday 5:30 PM – Monday 7:00 AM)
• Holiday Expectation: 1 major holiday during contract
• Return to Office (RTO) Requests: Up to 7 days possible if contract extended, depending on dates
