Job Opportunity: Pediatric Physical Therapist (Travel/Contract)

Location: Saint Cloud, Minnesota

Job Details

• Work Schedule:

  • 4 days per week, 9-hour shifts with every 4th weekend off (Saturday & Sunday)
  • Alternative schedules considered: 5 days x 8 hours or 4 days x 10 hours
• Shift Timing:

  • Start no earlier than 7:30 AM
  • End no later than 6:00 PM
• No on-call duties

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Pediatric Physical Therapy experience
• Minnesota Physical Therapy license (can apply after offer; temporary license issued quickly once documents are submitted)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Must be located at least 25 miles away from the facility (no local candidates accepted)
• Accepts first-time travelers (prior travel experience NOT required)
• Experience with EPIC charting preferred
• Must wear royal blue scrubs

Background and Compliance

• Criminal background check required within 1 year of start, including:

  • 7-year search, SS trace, counties, sex offender, nationwide, education verification
  • International background checks if candidate has lived/worked outside the US
• GSA/SAM and OIG excluded provider checks required
• Diploma acceptable in lieu of third-party education verification
• Minnesota DHS NetStudy Fingerprint required before start (candidates cannot start with fingerprints pending unless approved by facility)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start required
• Drug testing (9 panel) required within 1 year of start (not required annually)
• Various immunizations and titers required or accepted:

  • Tdap vaccination (no religious declinations accepted)
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray per MN state guidelines
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) positive titer or 2 vaccines (time sensitive)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination, positive titer, or declination
  • Varicella positive titer or 2 vaccines (time sensitive)
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or declination (mask required if declined)

Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• Other certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, EFM may be required or preferred depending on specialty area but are not specified as required for this role

Additional Requirements

• Two professional references from recent employers within 2 years
• Skills checklist required
• Completion of facility-specific education modules during orientation (approx. 16 hours)
• Candidate must complete Minnesota DHS NetStudy Fingerprint Questionnaire immediately after signing contract
• Photo for badge required (grey background, no selfies, JPG format)
• Confidentiality agreement must be signed prior to start
• Candidates must return badges on last day of assignment

• Candidates must comply with facility dress code and health/safety protocols
• No prior travel experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Must be willing to apply for Minnesota license promptly after offer
