Description
Job Opportunity: MRI Technologist (Travel Assignment)
Location: Not specified
Contract Length: 16 weeks (approximately 4 months)
Start Date: ASAP (Urgent need)
Assignment Duration: Up to 32 weeks
Job Details
Schedule:
- No on-call duties
- 1-2 weekends per month
- Must be flexible with schedule
- Must work 2 out of the 4 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day
- Monday to Sunday coverage, no block schedules
Work Environment:
- Teaching hospital experience required
- Public transportation is not available; reliable personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended
- Vehicles should have all-season or snow tires from November through April
Requirements
Licensure:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- ARRT or ARMRIT license with MR advanced licensure required
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience (specialty experience)
- Phillips MRI equipment experience required
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable
Additional:
- Prior travel experience is preferred (not strictly required)
- Complete and detailed work history required, including bed count, EMR, and facility type
- Must be able to explain any employment gaps over 90 days
Notes
- Bi-weekly orientations available on Mondays
- IVS to offer (interview, verify, schedule process)
This position is ideal for MRI technologists with recent Epic experience, Phillips MRI equipment knowledge, and a flexible schedule who are comfortable working in a teaching hospital environment and can commit to a travel assignment.
