Travel RN Opportunity - Emergency Department

Location: Texas City, Texas

Unit Information

Department: Emergency Department
Number of Beds: 33
Staffing:
- Day Shift: Director, 2 Charge Nurses, 6 RNs, 4 PRN CCT
- Night Shift: 4 RNs
Patient Ratios: Optimal 4:1
Equipment: 2 Tele Neuro machines, 3 EKG machines, Rapid Infuser
EMR System: Meditech

Required Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
NIH Certification
Registered Nurse License

Preferred Certifications

NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)

Vaginal Exams

Work Schedule & Environment

Every other weekend required
No on-call duties
Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs
