Description
PACU RN Travel Assignment
Location: Not specified
Contract Length: 16 weeks (interpreted as weeks)
Shift Details:
- Variable day/evening shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours
- No weekends regularly, but float, weekends, and call are required
- Holidays and weekends depend on schedule needs and staff picks
- Monday to Sunday coverage, no block schedules
Requirements:
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in PACU
- Must have critical care PACU skills and experience with high acuity critical care
- Experience with critical care procedures including arterial lines, multiple titrating drips, cardiac monitoring, etc.
- Experience in a large, teaching hospital setting required
- Epic electronic medical record experience within the past 2 years is mandatory
- Must provide complete work history including bed count, EMR, and facility type
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
Additional Notes:
- IV sedation skills to offer
- Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays
- Reliable personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended due to lack of public transportation
- Vehicles should have all-season or snow tires from November through April
