Description
Diagnostic Imaging - Contract Position
Location: Janesville, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule
- Day shift
- 1-2 call shifts per week
- 1 weekend per month
Work Setting
- Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, TAVR, and Left Atrial Appendage Closure
Job Duties
- Verify package integrity and expiration dates on sterile supplies
- Prepare patient and equipment using sterile technique
- Prepare equipment/supplies for sterilization after procedures
- Monitor and record procedural data and maintain event logs
- Provide patient comfort and familiarize patients with equipment and supplies
- Apply necessary monitors and prepare access sites with sterile drapes
- Use sterile and aseptic technique when scrubbing into procedures
- Advocate for radiation safety and protection; wear personal radiation dosimeter
- Document fluoroscopy time and radiation doses; evaluate safety reports
Education & Certification
- Graduate of an accredited radiology program
- ARRT(R) certification required
- BLS certification required
Experience
