Travel CST First Assist Opportunity

Location: Tallahassee, Florida

Facility & Unit Overview

• Growing Orthopedic Outpatient Surgery Center specializing in all orthopedic surgeries and spine surgery, including robotic total joint replacement.
• 6 OR rooms with a 1:1 patient ratio (1 OR RN and 1 scrub tech per room).
• Scheduling: 10-hour shifts with possible overtime; no call, nights, weekends, or holidays.
• Documentation system: Paper-based.
• Equipment: Varies, including advanced technology for orthopedic and spine procedures.

Procedures Performed

• Hand, Foot & Ankle surgeries
• Sports Medicine procedures
• Total Joint Replacement surgery
• Spine surgery
• Pain procedures

Required Certifications & Skills

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required; may be waived with appropriate experience.
• OR First Assist Certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Surgical Technician experience specifically with Orthopedics.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty (CST/ORT).
