Nursing Contract Opportunity - Hilo, Hawaii

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 15 weeks

Job Description

• Provide med/surg level care for patients 18 and over
• May float to surgical pediatrics or transitional care units
• Work various shift lengths and days; flexibility required
• Day or night shift availability (to be determined)
• Scheduled 36 hours per week after first full week of orientation
• No guarantee of hours or shift preference

Required Licenses & Certifications

• Active Hawaii RN license required by start of assignment
• BLS required
• ACLS preferred

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of med/surg or higher level of care experience

Additional Information

• Must arrive the Thursday before start date for employee health appointment
• Orientation included during the first week
• Equipment used: Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, chest tubes, etc.
• Nurse to patient ratio: 1:5
• Dress code: Professional nursing attire, closed toe shoes, no specific scrub colors required
