Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Job Description

• Position: Home Health RN
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8)
• Required Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty
• Experience Requirements:

  • OASIS E experience required
  • Adult Home Health experience required
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) required (AHA or ARC)
• Preferred Experience:

  • Port access experience preferred
  • Wound vac experience preferred
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required (first-time travelers accepted)

Required Credentials & Compliance

• Valid state nursing license required prior to start
• Criminal background check within 90 days, including multi-state searches
• Drug screen within 90 days of start (excluding marijuana), updated annually
• Annual physical exam confirming ability to work without accommodations and free from communicable disease
• Immunizations and health documentation required:

  • Tdap vaccine within 10 years preferred
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year, updated annually
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) documentation or titers
  • Hepatitis B titer, series, or signed declination
  • Varicella documentation or titer
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
• E-Verify and I9 documentation required upon hire

Competency & Training Requirements

• Medication/Pharmacology competency exam (score 80% or higher) within 3 years
• Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam required for certain specialties (not specifically stated for this role)
• Facility-specific orientation and safety manual acknowledgment required annually
• Completion of facility modules (SITELS) prior to start date

References & Work History

• Two positive supervisory references required, supporting at least 2 years of experience within the last 3 years
• Complete 7 years of work history with no gaps, including education and license information
• Verification of minimum 2 years of employment in the past 7 years required

Additional Notes

• Locals within 60 miles may be considered at a different rate (not relevant here)
• Must meet all facility-specific onboarding and compliance requirements prior to start
