Job Opportunity: Medical Technologist (Travel)

Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Employment Type: Travel

Job Details

Specialty: Medical Technologist (MLS or MLT)
Shift: Nights (2100 - 0730)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit: Laboratory (no patient beds)
Hospital Size: 360 beds
Staffing:
- Night Shift: 4 MLS or MLT techs
- Day Shift: 9 MLS or MLT techs, 2 Lab Assistants, 4 supervisors
- Evening Shift: 4 MLS or MLT techs, 1 Lab Assistant
Equipment Used: Sysmex XN3000, Siemens Vista 500s, ACL Top 500, Arkray/IQ200, Aptio, Architect, Micro-osmometer, ePoc EMR - NA

Requirements

Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year in Medical Technologist specialty
Certifications: ASCP or AMT MLS or MLT certification required
Skills:
- Previous hospital lab experience required
- Ability to work well with others
- Quick learner who can follow policies and procedures
Preferred Skills:
- Troubleshooting skills
- Hands-on experience with listed equipment

Work Environment & Culture

Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Willingness to assist wherever needed
Rotating weekends for day and night shifts; evening shift has a fixed weekend schedule
Dress code: Scrubs in Caribbean Blue

Additional Notes

Microbiology experience is a plus but not required
Typical duties include routine and STAT lab work
No prior travel experience required for this position
