Job Opportunity: Medical Technologist (Travel)

Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Employment Type: Travel


Job Details

  • Specialty: Medical Technologist (MLS or MLT)
  • Shift: Nights (2100 - 0730)
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Unit: Laboratory (no patient beds)
  • Hospital Size: 360 beds
  • Staffing:
    • Night Shift: 4 MLS or MLT techs
    • Day Shift: 9 MLS or MLT techs, 2 Lab Assistants, 4 supervisors
    • Evening Shift: 4 MLS or MLT techs, 1 Lab Assistant
  • Equipment Used: Sysmex XN3000, Siemens Vista 500s, ACL Top 500, Arkray/IQ200, Aptio, Architect, Micro-osmometer, ePoc EMR - NA

Requirements

  • Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year in Medical Technologist specialty
  • Certifications: ASCP or AMT MLS or MLT certification required
  • Skills:
    • Previous hospital lab experience required
    • Ability to work well with others
    • Quick learner who can follow policies and procedures
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Troubleshooting skills
    • Hands-on experience with listed equipment

Work Environment & Culture

  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Willingness to assist wherever needed
  • Rotating weekends for day and night shifts; evening shift has a fixed weekend schedule
  • Dress code: Scrubs in Caribbean Blue

Additional Notes

  • Microbiology experience is a plus but not required
  • Typical duties include routine and STAT lab work
  • No prior travel experience required for this position
