Job Opportunity: Sonographer (Cardiovascular with Vascular Experience)

Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary team in patient care.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Work schedule includes 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
• Required to work 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving).
• Limited time off allowed during holiday periods (11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26).

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of previous cardiovascular sonographer experience with vascular experience.
• At least 1 completed travel contract.
• Must have current skills checklist completed within 1 year.
• Required certifications:

  • ARDMS
  • BCLS
  • CCI - RCIS
  • RDCS
• Valid Iowa state license.
• Submission must include:

  • Work history/resume
  • License verification
  • Copy of required certifications
  • One supervisory reference
  • Proof of taxable address (e.g., driver’s license, utility bill, lease agreement, etc.)

Additional Information

• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC
• Overtime and holiday pay multipliers apply.
• On-call and charge/precept pay available.
