Description
Job Opportunity: Sonographer (Cardiovascular with Vascular Experience)
Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary team in patient care.
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
- Work schedule includes 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
- Required to work 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving).
- Limited time off allowed during holiday periods (11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26).
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of previous cardiovascular sonographer experience with vascular experience.
- At least 1 completed travel contract.
- Must have current skills checklist completed within 1 year.
- Required certifications:
- ARDMS
- BCLS
- CCI - RCIS
- RDCS
- Valid Iowa state license.
- Submission must include:
- Work history/resume
- License verification
- Copy of required certifications
- One supervisory reference
- Proof of taxable address (e.g., driver’s license, utility bill, lease agreement, etc.)
Additional Information
- Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC
- Overtime and holiday pay multipliers apply.
- On-call and charge/precept pay available.
This position is ideal for experienced cardiovascular sonographers seeking a temporary assignment in Iowa with a reputable healthcare system.
