Description
Job Opportunity: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Rehabilitation Therapy
Location: Dover, Delaware
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 35 hours per week
About the Role
- Provide high-quality speech therapy evaluations and treatments for residents in a senior living community.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to improve communication, safety, and quality of life.
- Work with patients across skilled nursing, personal care, and independent living care settings.
- Collaborate closely with an experienced rehab team, nursing staff, and other healthcare partners.
- Document services using Net Health (training provided if needed).
- Support a positive, resident-centered culture within the therapy department.
Requirements
- Valid Delaware SLP license in good standing.
- Experience working in senior care.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexible, compassionate, and professional approach to care.
- Two-step PPD or TB skin test within 30 days of start date.
- CPR certification through The American Heart Association or The Red Cross.
- Covid vaccination records or exemption.
- Background check and fingerprinting.
