Occupational Therapist (Rehabilitation Therapy)

Location: Lewistown, Montana
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

• Evaluate, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions to help patients develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to promote independence and improve quality of life for individuals with physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges.
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations assessing physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical findings.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve functional abilities.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment use.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Recommend and train patients in the use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Montana Occupational Therapy licensure.
• Valid driver's license.
• CPR certification.
