Description

Nursing Contract Opportunity - Colorado, Grand Junction

Specialty: Nursing (Hospice)
Location: Grand Junction, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

  • Full-time position with 3 shifts per week, each 12 hours (7pm - 7am, night shift)
  • On-call requirement: 2 shifts per month
  • Provide compassionate hospice nursing care focused on end-of-life support
  • Role involves symptom management, patient assessment, and critical thinking
  • Act as a teacher to patients and caregivers, helping them set personal care goals and build confidence in caregiving
  • Work in a home-like setting providing intensive medical care for patients who cannot be at home but prefer not to be hospitalized
  • Support includes physical, emotional, social, and spiritual care

Requirements

  • Strong clinical skills in hospice nursing
  • Experience in symptom management and critical thinking
  • Ability to provide personalized, compassionate care in a hospice setting
