Description

Nursing Contract Opportunity - Colorado, Grand Junction

Job Description

Full-time position with 3 shifts per week, each 12 hours (7pm - 7am, night shift)
On-call requirement: 2 shifts per month
Provide compassionate hospice nursing care focused on end-of-life support
Role involves symptom management, patient assessment, and critical thinking
Act as a teacher to patients and caregivers, helping them set personal care goals and build confidence in caregiving
Work in a home-like setting providing intensive medical care for patients who cannot be at home but prefer not to be hospitalized
Support includes physical, emotional, social, and spiritual care

Requirements

Strong clinical skills in hospice nursing
Experience in symptom management and critical thinking
Ability to provide personalized, compassionate care in a hospice setting
