Description

Job Opportunity: RN - OR Circulating

Location: Rapid City, South Dakota


Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Specialty

  • RN - OR Circulating

Required Experience

  • Minimum 4 years recent circulator experience (higher value between 3-4 years interpreted as 4 years)
  • Strong orthopedic experience required
  • Experience with total joints and arthroscopy
  • Robotics experience highly preferred, especially with MAKO robot

Licensure & Certifications

  • RN license in South Dakota or a compact state
  • ACLS certification (must be AHA)
  • BLS certification (must be AHA)

Job Description & Duties

  • Circulate primarily in orthopedic surgeries including total joints (MAKO), arthroscopy, spine, foot and ankle, hand, ORIF
  • Some general surgery, ENT, GYN, and plastics procedures
  • Work in 11 OR suites and 1 GI suite, handling 30 to 50 cases per day
  • Use of MAKO robotic equipment

Schedule & Work Conditions

  • 10-hour shifts
  • No call, no weekends
  • No floating to other units or departments
  • Scrubs provided (Ceil Blue)
  • Must badge in and out at the facility

Additional Requirements

  • Must note if previously worked for the health system with at least a 6-month gap before submission
  • Local travelers (within 80 miles) may have adjusted rates (not relevant for job consideration)
