Registered Nurse (Nursing) - Bozeman, Montana
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse works collaboratively with the healthcare team to assess patient needs, plan and implement patient and family education, and initiate appropriate interventions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Nursing, Associate degree, or Diploma
- Montana Registered Nurse Licensure
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- American Heart Association ACLS certification (within 6 months of hire)
- Minimum 18 months of Registered Nurse experience (1.5 years)
Preferred:
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)
- 1 year circulating experience
- 1 year scrub experience
Essential Job Functions
- Collect comprehensive patient health data (Assessment)
- Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues (Diagnosis)
- Identify expected outcomes and develop individualized care plans
- Implement and evaluate the plan of care
- Promote health and a safe environment
- Enhance quality and effectiveness of nursing practice
- Maintain knowledge and competency reflecting current nursing practice
- Evaluate own nursing practice against professional standards and regulations
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team
- Integrate ethical provisions and research findings into practice
- Provide leadership in professional nursing practice

Stroke Competency
- Comply with hospital policies related to hyperacute and acute stroke care
- Participate in 2 hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education within one year of hire
- Participate in 1 hour annually of stroke education
Additional Information
- Variable day shift positions with call; flexibility to cover all shifts is required
- Traveler must live at least 90 miles away from the facility to be considered
