Job Opportunity: RN - Orthopedic Clinic

Location: Bemidji, Minnesota

Position Overview

• Work in an Orthopedic and Sports Medicine clinic setting.
• Day shifts only, no call required. Shifts may be 10 hours long, typically from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Float within procedural ambulatory departments.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Licenses and Certifications

• Minnesota RN license (MN RN)
• Active BLS (AHA) certification

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of orthopedic nursing experience required.

Job Duties

• Room patients and set up for in-office procedures.
• Assist with in-office procedures.
• Application of Durable Medical Equipment (DME).
• Application of casts (preferred but not mandatory).
• Documentation using EPIC electronic health record system.
• Training provided for other equipment as needed.

Work Environment

• Clinic setting with approximately 16 exam rooms in Orthopedics and 12 exam rooms in Podiatry.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio typical of a clinic environment.
• Dress code: Sanford Navy Blue scrubs (assistance available for surgical ceil blue scrubs).

Orientation and Training

• Training provided for rooming patients and specifics related to Orthopedics, Podiatry, and other procedural clinics.
