Job Opportunity: RN - Orthopedic Clinic
Location: Bemidji, Minnesota
Position Overview
- Work in an Orthopedic and Sports Medicine clinic setting.
- Day shifts only, no call required. Shifts may be 10 hours long, typically from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Float within procedural ambulatory departments.
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Licenses and Certifications
- Minnesota RN license (MN RN)
- Active BLS (AHA) certification
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of orthopedic nursing experience required.
Job Duties
- Room patients and set up for in-office procedures.
- Assist with in-office procedures.
- Application of Durable Medical Equipment (DME).
- Application of casts (preferred but not mandatory).
- Documentation using EPIC electronic health record system.
- Training provided for other equipment as needed.
Work Environment
- Clinic setting with approximately 16 exam rooms in Orthopedics and 12 exam rooms in Podiatry.
- Nurse-to-patient ratio typical of a clinic environment.
- Dress code: Sanford Navy Blue scrubs (assistance available for surgical ceil blue scrubs).
Orientation and Training
- Training provided for rooming patients and specifics related to Orthopedics, Podiatry, and other procedural clinics.
