Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Temporary Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative.
• Facilitate diagnosis by applying appropriate skills.
• May have independent responsibilities and supervise or instruct department personnel as assigned.
• Follow infection control and body substance isolation practices in compliance with hospital policies and OSHA standards.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems.
• Attend annual mandatory education including blood borne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation.
• Maintain department competencies as required.
• Provide excellent patient care.
• Must be current with all continuing education for both radiology and mammography.
• Must be willing to work weekends and evenings.
• 10/12-hour shift requests will NOT be considered; candidate must work the posted schedule.
• No schedule accommodations such as block scheduling will be accepted.
• Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will NOT be considered.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years total experience with at least 1 year current experience in the specialty.
• Certifications:

  • ARRT (R) Certification (Required)
  • BLS (AHA) Certification (Required)
• Licensing:

  • Massachusetts Radiology License in hand or proof of application required prior to offer (license will not be pended).
• Preferred:

  • Experience with Meditech Expanse strongly preferred.
• Additional Profile Requirements:

  • Work history documentation.
  • Skills checklist current within 1 year.
  • One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years.
  • All licenses and certifications must be uploaded with profile.

Additional Notes

• Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at profile upload; no more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted.
• Orientation is 8 hours, non-billable.
• Must be able to work the posted schedule without exceptions.

Prior Travel Experience
