Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology (Travel/Contract)
Location: Paramus, New Jersey
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Start Date: ASAP preferred
- Shift: Blocked schedule, Wednesday through Saturday
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Requirements
- Certification: ARRT (MR-MRI required)
- State License: Required (can submit with pending license)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience preferred in Radiology / Cardiology specialty
- Equipment Experience: Siemens experience preferred
Prior Travel Experience

Required Certifications
- ARRT certification (mandatory for Radiology)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA only (selected staff)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - Required for Labor and Delivery, Mother Baby, NICU (if applicable)
- EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) - Required for Labor and Delivery (AWHONN Advanced or NCC C-EFM within 2 years)
- Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement
- State License Verification (must be current within 30 days prior to start)
- Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication) required onsite for all RN specialties, EKG Techs, and Cath Lab Techs
Competency Exams
- Medication/Pharmacology Competency Exam (80% pass rate, annual update)
- Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam (80% pass rate, annual update; exemptions apply)
- Core Competency Exams Part I, II, and III (80% pass rate, annual update)
- Phlebotomy Competency Exam (for PCT/PCA if applicable)
- Color Blind Testing (Ishihara test within 1 year of assignment start)
Health and Compliance Requirements (Must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing)
- Physical Exam or Statement of Health (within 12 months, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NP)
- Fit Mask Test (N95 or equivalent, annual requirement)
- Negative 9 Panel Drug Test (within 30 days of start)
- Immunizations and Titers:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Varicella
- Hepatitis B (titer or declination)
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (preferred, not required)
- Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray (annual requirement)
- Flu Seasonal Vaccination (mandatory, no declinations accepted)
- COVID-19 Vaccination (completed series and booster required)
Background and Verification
- 7-year background check (including national and state checks, sex offender, OIG, SAM.gov)
- Employment verification for the last 7 years (no gaps over 30 days without explanation)
- Two professional references required:
- One supervisory reference within 12 months
- One professional reference within 3 years
- Education verification (diploma or third-party verification required)
Additional Notes
- No holiday time off will be approved
- Locals accepted if within 75 miles (with adjusted pay)
- Pass/fail testing onsite with one attempt allowed; failure results in contract cancellation
