Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology (Travel/Contract)

Location: Paramus, New Jersey
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Requirements & Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications

• ARRT certification required for Radiology
• State license required (no temporary or emergency licenses unless approved)
• ACLS (AHA only) required for applicable providers
• BLS (AHA only) required for all RNs and most clinical staff
• PALS, NRP, EFM certifications required for specific units (not mandatory for this role unless specified)
• Pass/Fail testing onsite for relevant competencies (e.g., Telemetry, Medication)
• Core Competency Exams (Parts I, II, III) must be completed annually with a minimum 80% score

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Radiology/Cardiology specialty preferred
• Siemens equipment experience preferred

Background & Verification

• 7-year background check required within 6 months of start
• Employment verification for the last 7 years required
• Education verification required (diploma can be used as placeholder if pending)
• Two professional references required (one supervisory within 12 months, one professional within 3 years)

Health & Safety

• Physical exam within 72 hours of contract signing, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NP
• Fit mask test required within 72 hours of contract signing (N95 or equivalent)
• Negative 9-panel drug test within 72 hours of contract signing
• Immunizations and titers required within 72 hours of contract signing:

  • COVID-19 (completed series and booster if eligible)
  • Flu vaccine (mandatory, no declinations accepted)
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) proof or titers
  • Varicella proof or titer
  • Hepatitis B surface antibody or declination
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 6 months
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap preferred but not required

Additional Notes

• No holiday time off will be approved
• Locals accepted if within 75 miles (with adjusted pay)
• Must complete facility-specific orientation and competency modules prior to start
• Pass/fail testing onsite with one attempt allowed; failure results in contract cancellation
