Job Opportunity: Surgical Nursing (Contract)
Location: Meeker, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Set up equipment and instruments required for surgical procedures
- Sterilize inventory equipment to maintain supply stock
- Assist in preparing patients for surgery
- Pass instruments and sterile supplies to the surgeon during operations
- Recount surgical supplies and instruments at the end of operations
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout the procedure
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Specialty: Nursing (Surgical)
- Minimum Years of Experience: 3 years
- Certifications: BLS/BCLS required
- Prior travel experience: Not required
Additional Information
- Housing available (shared room, no pets, smoking, or family members allowed)
- Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 65 miles away from the facility (local candidates not considered)
