Description

Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Assignment

Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Weekends - Variable Shift
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Call Requirements: None


Job Description

  • Provide physical therapy services in an inpatient rehab and acute hospital setting.
  • Patient population includes neuro and ortho patients in inpatient rehab, as well as ortho, telemetry, and ICU patients in acute care.
  • Perform wound care treatments.
  • Documentation system used: Meditech.
  • Floating to other units as needed.

Requirements

  • Licensure: Active Texas PT or OT license (no temporary licenses allowed).
  • Certifications: BLS required.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years of hospital experience (higher of 1 year stated elsewhere and 2 years in description).
    • Must have inpatient rehab and/or hospital experience.
    • Wound care experience required.
  • Preferred: 2-3 years of experience in rehab and/or acute hospital settings.

Dress Code & Appearance

  • Scrubs: Hunter Green (must be purchased).
  • Nails: Clean and healthy; no artificial, gel, or next-gen nails.
  • Hair: Neat, clean, no extreme styles or colors; must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab.
  • Facial Hair: Clean and neatly trimmed.
  • Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible; exceptions handled individually.
  • Piercings: Only ear piercings allowed; no visible nose, tongue, or other piercings.

  • Floating policy: As needed.
  • Attendance policy: Company-wide attendance policy applies.
  • Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required.
