Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Position: Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Technologist)
Required Credentials & Certifications
- BLS Certification (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military; AHA preferred)
- ARRT Certification
- Professional License: Must have primary source verification of professional license/certification as required for the position. MA Conditional Licenses are not accepted.
- Fit Test: N95 fit test within 365 days of start date, updated annually. Must be completed on the MGB N95 Respirator Fit Test Record Form. No religious exemptions.
- MMR Vaccination or Immunity: Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine or two MMR vaccines, or proof of immunity via blood test.
- Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30). No exemptions allowed.
- TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON TB Test or T-spot within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break.
- Health Statement: Physician statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break.
- Criminal Background Check: Within 45 days prior to start date, including county and international searches if applicable.
- Massachusetts CORI Check: Completed within 30 days prior to start date, updated if >6 month break.
- Resume: Must include past 7 years of work experience with city and state. Required for submission.
- References: Two recent references, at least one supervisor or above, in the skillset. Required for submission.
- Skills Checklist: Required for submission.
- Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form: Required for all initial assignments and extensions.
- Respirator Medical Clearance (RMC) Attestation: Required if fit test is required for the skill.
- Education Verification: Verified through background check company, must verify highest level of education achieved.
- SSN Trace: Must be run with criminal check, listing addresses/aliases for past 7 years.
- National Sex Offender Check: Ran within 30 days of start and updated annually.
- Exclusion Checks: Ran within 30 days of start and annually, including OIG, GSA, MassHealth & NH Medicaid exclusion lists.
Optional / Preferred Credentials
- Hepatitis B Vaccination or Immunity: Strongly preferred (3 vaccines or proof of immunity or declination).
- Tdap Vaccine: Preferred within 10 years and updated upon expiration.
- Positive PPD - Negative Chest X-Ray: If positive TB test, documentation of chest x-ray showing no active tuberculosis is required.
- TB Symptom Survey: If positive PPD, TB screening form to confirm no symptoms of TB infection, updated annually.
