Job Opportunity: Technologist - Electrophysiology (Days)
Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work schedule: 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours
- Orientation dates available
- EMR system: EPIC
- On-call and overtime pay multipliers apply
- Local radius rule: 50 miles
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of Electrophysiology (EP) experience required for first-time travel contract
- Must have 24 months of current experience in Electrophysiology/EP, Cardiac Cath/CCL, or Interventional/IR
- Experience with cardiac ablation, cardiac rhythm management (CRM), and left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO) required
- Siemens equipment experience required
Certifications
- ARRT or Registered Cardiovascular / RCIS / RCES certification required
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Other Requirements
- Skills checklist specific to Electrophysiology/EP, Cardiac Cath/CCL, or Interventional/IR required
- Professional references preferred (from charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director within last 24 months)
- Valid driver’s license required
Prior Travel Experience
- Travel experience desired but not explicitly required
