Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (ER) - Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Position in a 28-bed Emergency Room department including:
- 4 trauma bays
- 2 behavioral health rooms
- 22 cardiac monitor rooms
- Fast-paced, high patient turnover, team-oriented environment
- Schedule: Days, 3 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours weekly)
- No guarantee of hours
Licensure & Certifications
- Must have an active Hawaii RN license by the start of the assignment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
- Preferred (not required) certifications: Procedural Sedation, TMCC, EMPC
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (specialty years of experience)
Additional Information
- Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for an employee health appointment on Friday
- Prior travel experience is required
This role is ideal for experienced ER nurses with required certifications and prior travel experience, ready to work in a dynamic emergency department setting in Hawaii.
