Job Description

• Position requires experience in Interventional and Critical Care nursing.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Must hold a New Jersey or Compact nursing license.
• On-call shift approximately 1 day per week and one weekend a month. Must be within 30 minutes for emergency call.
• First-time travelers are welcome.
• Must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster.

Required Experience

• Interventional and Critical Care nursing experience required.

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Immunizations and titers required within 72 hours of contract signing:

  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray

  • Varicella (proof of 2 vaccinations or positive titer)
• Fit mask test (N95 or equivalent) within 1 year of start, must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing.
• Seasonal flu vaccination mandatory (no declinations accepted).
• Background checks including 7-year history, sex offender search, OIG, EPLS/SAM, OFAC sanctions, and education verification.
• Employment verification for last 7 years required.
• Two professional references required: one supervisory within last 12 months, one professional within last 3 years.
• Pass/fail testing onsite for telemetry competency and medication exam required.

Additional Information

• Must be within 30 minutes of facility for on-call requirements.

• Unit-specific skills checklist and orientation safety manual acknowledgment required.
• Core competency exams (Parts I, II, III) must be completed and updated annually with a passing score of 80% or better.
