Cardiology - Cardiac Cath Lab Contract Position

Location: Oshkosh, WI

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: Cardiology (Cardiac Cath Lab)
• Employment Type: Contractor
• Facility Type: Level III Trauma Center with Level III NICU and Primary Stroke Center
• Beds: 72 total; Cath Lab has 2 rooms (1 EP/Cath room, 1 Cath Lab)
• Average Cases per Day: 4

Experience Requirements

• Minimum Years of Specialty Experience: 2 years
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required (first-time travelers accepted)

Patient Types / Common Procedures

• Diagnostics and interventional procedures in Cath Lab
• Femoral and radial approach
• IFR, FFR
• Balloon pumps

Licensure & Certifications

• Required: BLS, ARRT or RCIS
• Preferred: ACLS

Skills & Competencies

• Cath lab experience with the above patient types and procedures
• Experience with balloon pumps and temporary pacers
• Ability to work in a 24/7, 365 STEMI program
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to teach and educate others
• Ability to work well within interdisciplinary teams
