Travel RN - Emergency Department (ED)

Location: Georgetown, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Call Requirements: No call required
Weekends: 4 weekend shifts per schedule

• Unit: Emergency Department
• Number of Beds: 23
• Number of Staff: 40
• Typical Staffing (varies by shift):

  • Day Shift: 1 CNC, 5 RNs, 1 Paramedic, 1 PCT
  • Midshift: 4 RNs
  • Night Shift: 1 CNC, 5 RNs, 1 Paramedic, 1 PCT
• Patient Ratios: 4:1
• Equipment: Welch Allyn, GE
• EMR System: Meditech
• Permanent Positions Available: None

Required Qualifications

• Licenses: Registered Nurse License
• Certifications:

  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • NIH Certification
  • PALS
  • TNCC
• Experience: Minimum 2 years Emergency Department experience preferred; 1 year ED experience required
• Skill Set:

  • ALS/BLS/TNCC/ENPC or PALS required
  • Cardioversion, TNK administration, Moderate Sedation procedures commonly performed
• Personality Fit: Team player, flexible, positive demeanor, upbeat
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required
