Job Description

• Shifts to be covered:

  • Friday & Saturday: 9:30 PM to 10:00 AM
  • Sunday: 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM
  • Tuesday: 1:15 PM to 9:45 PM

• Certification Requirements:

  • Must have ASCP or AMT certification
  • AAB certification not accepted
  • Position strictly for Medical Technologists (Medical Lab Techs not accepted)

Unit Information

• Location: Medical City North Hills Laboratory, Floor 1
• Equipment used: Siemens Atellica Ci1900, Sysmex, ACL Top 350, Beckman DxH
• EMR system: OnCall
• No on-call or floating requirements

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of hospital experience required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Technologist (specialty) required

Preferred Skills

• Meditech experience is preferred

• Chemistry tests
• Hematology tests
• Rapid tests

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Team player personality
• Candidates without at least one year of hospital experience will not be considered
