Job Opportunity: Rehabilitation Therapy (Contract)

Location: Honakaa, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 26 weeks

Job Description

• Provide professional occupational therapy services under general supervision.
• Perform diagnostic assessments and prepare/implement treatment plans.
• Work primarily in SNF/inpatient settings, with some outpatient duties.
• May provide all therapy services for a unit, center, or facility.
• Must be available to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed; services provided 24/7.
• Typical schedule: 5-day work week with possible 1 weekend day (Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat).
• Equipment used: EMR system (Meditech).

Requirements

• Licensure: Must have an active Hawaii State license by the start of the assignment.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
• Experience: Minimum 6 months of work experience in at least one adult setting such as Acute, SNF, rehab hospital, or outpatient.
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required.

Additional Information

• Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for an employee health appointment on Friday.
• Do not accept the start date if unable to arrive on time.
