Description

Diagnostic Imaging Technologist - Contract Position

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Radiologic Technologist
Licensure: Must have an active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license by the start of the assignment
Certification:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficient in operation of radiographic equipment, able to function independently without supervision
- Knowledge of radiation safety and protocols
- Must have a dosimeter badge
- Experience with Meditech or Epic EMR systems preferred
- Experience with Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, and Konica DR preferred

Additional Information

Traveler must arrive on the island the Thursday before the Monday start date to complete employee health and HR clearance appointments
Shifts are varied (day/evening) with an average of 3 days of call per month
No guarantee of hours or time off requests
Prior travel experience is required for this position
