Diagnostic Imaging Technologist - Contract Position in Hawaii (Hilo)

Job Details

Specialty: Diagnostic Imaging (Radiologic Technologist)
Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements

Licensure: Must have a current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license by the start of the assignment.
Certification:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a radiologic technologist.
Skills:
- Proficient in operating radiographic equipment independently without supervision.
- Knowledge of radiation safety and protocols.
- Must have a dosimeter badge.
- Experience with Meditech EMR, Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, and Konica DR preferred.
Prior Travel Experience: Required.

Additional Information

Traveler must arrive on the island the Thursday before the Monday start date to complete employee health and HR clearance appointments.
Shifts are varied (day/evening) with an average of 3 days of call per month.
No guarantee of hours or time off requests.
