Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg (Nights)

Location: Mattoon, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care delivery.
• Provide clinical leadership to the patient care team during the assigned shift.

Requirements

• Specialty: Medical-Surgical Nursing (Med Surg)
• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of Med Surg experience required
• Licensure: Active Illinois RN license (Nursys verification required)
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (AHA) required within 30 days of start
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Additional Documentation:

  • Work history skills checklist relevant to Med Surg, current within 1 year
  • Two supervisory reference forms with employment dates
• Geographic Restriction: Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Facility & Work Environment

• Utilizes Cerner EMR system
• Dress code: Royal Blue Scrubs
• Nonbillable hours: 16 hours
• Overtime/Holiday pay at 1.25x regular rate
• Call back pay at 1.3x regular rate
• On-call rate available
