Travel CST/ORT Opportunity - Wichita, Kansas
Position Details
- Specialty: Certified Surgical Technician (CST) / Operating Room Technician (ORT)
- Location: Wichita, Kansas
- Employment Type: Travel
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Unit: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
- Shift: Day shift (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM), no night shift (call only)
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Beds: 2 heart rooms with a possible 3rd
- Staff: 4 RNs, 3 CSTs
- Equipment: EMR system - Meditech
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technician (CST) Certification
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CST/ORT (CVOR experience required; no training provided)
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Meditech EMR system
Typical Procedures
- Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
- Aortic Valve Replacement (AVR)
- Mitral Valve Replacement (MVR)
- Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
