Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) - Travel Position
Location: Atlantis, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Unit Information
- Unit: Radiology (OR Tech)
- Beds: 4 Scanners, 4 tables
- Staff: 4 Techs per shift, 24 hours a day, 12-hour shifts
- Shifts:
- Day Shift: 4 Techs, 1 table
- Night Shift: 4 Techs, 1 table
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Equipment: GE 1.5, Discovery 450, X-Ray, MRI, CT machines
- EMR System: Meditech
Job Description
- Cover Radiology in the OR during high census
- Train new graduates
- Support startup of new OR project
- Perform a wide range of imaging procedures including radiography, x-ray, sonography, and MRI
- Use various medical devices to create diagnostic images
Requirements
- Certifications:
- ARRT (Radiologic Technologist Certification)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years hospital experience as a Radiologic Technologist
- Preferred: ACLS certification (not required)
Work Environment & Expectations
- Critical thinker, flexible, able to work independently
- Willing to work weekends and nights
- No on-call required
- Dress code: Blue scrubs provided for OR Rad Techs

- 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
