Travel RN Opportunity - Portsmouth, New Hampshire

Position Details

Unit Information

Unit: Progressive Care Neuro Trauma
Number of Beds: 23
Staffing:
- Day Shift: 6-7 RNs, 2 Aides
- Night Shift: 6-7 RNs, 2 Aides
Patient Ratio: 4:1
Equipment: Bedside monitors, End tidal O2 monitoring, high flow, chronic vents, Subdural drains
EMR System: Meditech

Required Skills & Experience

Must Have:
- Telemetry
- Step-down experience
Preferred:
- Neuro experience
- Trauma experience
Typical Procedures:
- Chest tubes
- EEGs

Certifications & Licenses

Required: ACLS, BLS
Preferred: NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
License: Registered Nurse License (valid in New Hampshire)

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in the RN specialty

Work Environment

Floating to all inpatient units including ICU and Emergency Department (ED)
Dress Code: Professional scrubs, no specific color required
Weekend Schedule: Every other weekend
No on-call requirement
