Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Baltimore, Maryland

Job Details
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 3x12 hour shifts, 1900-0730
- Float Requirement: Must float within skillset to Med-Surg (MS) and MS/Telemetry units
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in MS/Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, and Telemetry units
- Prior travel experience required (must have completed at least 1 prior travel contract)
- Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with:
- Minimum overall score of 80%
- 100% score on lethal rhythms section
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications required
Certifications & Exams
- Relias Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam (annual update required)
- BLS (AHA or ARC)
- ACLS
- Other certifications may be required based on unit (e.g., PALS, NRP, TNCC, EFM) depending on assignment specifics
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Valid state nursing license required prior to start
- Background checks including criminal, SSN trace, federal and state searches
- Drug screening within 90 days of start (excluding marijuana)
- Annual physical exam confirming ability to perform work without accommodations and free from communicable disease
- Immunizations and health documentation including:
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray (updated annually)
- Tdap vaccine within 10 years preferred
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) documentation or titers
- Hepatitis B titer or series or signed declination
- Varicella documentation or titer
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
- E-Verify and I9 documentation required upon hire
- Completion of facility-specific orientation modules prior to start
Additional Requirements
- Two positive supervisory references supporting at least 2 years of experience within the last 3 years
- Complete 7 years of work history with no gaps, including education and license information
- Skills checklist and competency exams updated annually
- Must have a valid driver’s license if driving is an essential job function
