Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Technologist
Location: Centerville, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- May have on-call responsibilities
Job Description
- Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures independently using proper techniques and radiopharmaceutical administration
- Work within scope of practice and licensure for medication administration, equipment operation, and venipuncture
- Coordinate patient flow and department activities, including radiation protection practices
- Maintain equipment in good working condition
- May perform procedures in other imaging modalities as needed
Education Requirements
- Minimum: Associate degree in Allied Health
- Major: Nuclear Medicine Technology
Licensure/Certification Requirements
- CPR Certification
- Nuclear Medicine Registry
- Ohio Department of Health (ODH) licensure (pending acceptable)
- ARRT RT (R) registry and/or NMTCB certification
Experience Requirements
- Minimum specialty experience: No prior job-related work experience required
- Preferred: 1 year experience in specialized Nuclear Medicine field

Required Documentation & Compliance
- I-9 and E-Verify forms
- Government-issued photo ID
- Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG
- Education verification (primary source)
- Physical exam within 2 years indicating fitness to work
- Drug testing within 12 months (9 or 10 panel including marijuana)
- Immunizations and health documents including:
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray (annual update if past positive)
- Vaccinations or immunity attestations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption
- Respiratory safety clearance within 1 year, renewed annually
- References: 2 professional references within 2 years (1 must be a manager/supervisor) or employment verification if references unavailable
- Skills checklist updated within 1 year
- Competency exams and certifications as applicable
Certifications (as applicable)
- ACLS (for RNs except L&D)
- BLS (all clinical positions)
- PALS (Emergency Dept, PACU, some inpatient trauma units)
- NRP (L&D, Post-Partum, Nursery, Neonatal units)
- TNCC (Emergency Department)
- EFM (L&D)
- CPI (Emergency Department only)
Competency Exams
- Medication/Pharmacology competency within 2 years
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency within 1 year or must pass within 72 hours of contract signing (3 attempts max)
- Unit-specific competency exams within 2 years
Additional Notes
- Fingerprinting required only for select units (not required for this position)
- Medical questionnaire for respiratory protection must be submitted prior to orientation
- Candidate must comply with all facility-specific health and safety protocols
This position is ideal for Nuclear Medicine Technologists with an associate degree and relevant certifications seeking a 13-week travel contract in Ohio. Prior experience is preferred but not mandatory.
