MRI Tech Travel Opportunity - Florida (Hudson)

Position Details

• Staff on Unit: 3
• Shifts:

  • Day Shift: Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Night Shift: 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM
  • Weekend: Sat-Sun, 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM
• On-Call: 4-5 days per month
• Patient Ratio: 1:1

Required Certifications & Experience

• Certifications: ARRT (MR) Certification, BLS
• Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year in MRI specialty
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required

Job Responsibilities & Skills

• Ability to work independently with Radiologist availability for questions
• Provide excellent patient care while maintaining a safe MRI environment
• Adapt protocols for patient or physician needs (preferred)
• Willingness to learn new procedures via onsite and virtual training (preferred)

Typical Procedures

• Neuro exams including MRAs, MRIs of head, neck, and spine
• Abdominal exams including MRCPs, MRAs, MRIs of aorta, liver, kidneys
• MSK exams including extremities and arthrograms

Equipment & Technology

• Current equipment: GE Explorer Lift Signa 1.5T MRI
• Planned software upgrade from GE 23X to GE 30X with AirDL for faster scans and new neuro and abdominal sequences
• Future plans include adding a second scanner and department growth

Scheduling & Additional Info

• Scheduled according to facility policy
• Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff
