Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: Arlington, Virginia
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each
Call Requirement: 8-12 days per month with 30-minute response time


Job Description

  • Perform a variety of technical procedures using ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis.
  • Responsible for designated areas and procedures within the Interventional Radiology Section.
  • Must have thrombectomy experience.

Requirements

Licensure & Certification

  • Must have a Virginia state license or proof of license application.
  • Must have an active license from another state if not yet licensed in Virginia.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • ACLS certification required for Interventional Radiology.
  • BLS preferred but not required.
  • Other certifications (PALS, NRP, TNCC) may be required depending on unit specifics—confirm with program management.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Special Procedures / Interventional Radiology.
  • Thrombectomy experience is mandatory.
