Position Details

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in specialty
• First-time Travelers: Not accepted
• Weekend Requirement: Work every third weekend
• On-call: Not required
• Floating: May float within scope as needed
• Block Scheduling: Not accommodated
• Local Candidates: Not accepted (within 100-mile radius)
• Pending License: Accepted
• Return to Office (RTO) Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days

Certifications Required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – AHA or ARC only, RQI acceptable
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA or ARC only, RQI acceptable
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – AHA or ARC only, PEARS acceptable in lieu of PALS
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – AHA/AAP only
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – as applicable
• Other certifications as applicable per unit/job description

Background & Compliance Requirements

• Criminal background check within 1 year required (7-year MN statewide search plus other checks)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 1 year
• Transcript/Diploma verification as applicable
• Minnesota DHS Net Study Fingerprint clearance required before start (no fingerprints pending allowed)
• Physical exam within 12 months prior to start
• Immunizations and health documents required:

  • Adult Tdap (no declinations accepted without exemption approval)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray (within 12 months)
  • Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer required
  • Hepatitis B: Positive IGG titer, proof of series, or signed declination
  • Varicella: Positive IGG titer or 2 vaccines required
  • Seasonal Flu vaccination documentation required for 2025-26 season (declinations accepted)
• Drug testing: 9-panel within 1 year (not required for client clearance)
• OSHA Respiratory Safety clearance required prior to start for fit testing

Additional Requirements

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam required
• Annual Skills Checklist required
• Completion of facility-specific pre-orientation online modules within 72 hours of login (3-9 hours depending on specialty)
• Passport-style photo for badge required within 48 hours of signing contract
• Uniform guidelines must be reviewed prior to start

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
• Candidates must be able to work every third weekend and float as needed.
• This is a travel/contract position with a 13-week assignment length.
• Candidates with less than 2 years of specialty experience or first-time travelers will not be considered.
