Job Opportunity: OT Pediatrics (Travel/Contract)
Location: Saint Cloud, Minnesota
Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation (Pediatric Occupational Therapist)
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Schedule: Days, Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8-10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
- Shift Start: No earlier than 7:30 AM
- Shift End: No later than 6:00 PM
- Patient Population: Pediatric outpatient with a wide variety of diagnoses
- Required Skills: Acute care, outpatient clinic, pediatrics
- EPIC experience preferred
- Traveler’s primary residence must be more than 25 miles from the facility
Experience Requirements
- Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation (Pediatric OT)
- Years of Experience: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum 2 years (default for specialty unless otherwise specified)

Certifications & Licenses
- State License: Primary source verification required
- BLS (Basic Life Support): Required

Background & Compliance Requirements

- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG excluded provider checks required
- Minnesota DHS NetStudy Fingerprint clearance required (no start with fingerprints pending)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Drug testing: 9-panel within 1 year (not required for client clearance but recommended)
- Immunizations and health screenings required:
- Tdap vaccination (no religious declination accepted)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray per MN state guidelines
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) proof of immunity or vaccination (time sensitive)
- Hepatitis B vaccination, positive titer, or declination
- Varicella immunity or vaccination (time sensitive)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or declination (mask required if declined)
Additional Requirements
- Two references from recent employers within 2 years required
- Skills checklist required for all clinical candidates
- Candidate must complete Minnesota DHS NetStudy Fingerprint Questionnaire immediately after signing contract
- Photo for badge required (grey background, no selfies, JPG format)
- Dress code must be reviewed prior to start (specific scrubs for some roles)
- Education modules to be completed during orientation (approx. 16 hours)
- Confidentiality agreement must be signed prior to start
- Candidates must return badges on last day of assignment
Notes
- Candidates must complete all required documentation and clearances prior to start
- Fingerprinting must be completed within 2 weeks of registration
- Candidates may need to travel to a livescan location for fingerprinting if not available locally
- No start allowed with pending fingerprint results unless a “more time needed” letter is approved
