Description

Job Opportunity: PACU Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Gunnison, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

Serve as a professional member of the surgical team within the Surgical Services Department.
Provide patient care during pre-operative and post-operative phases.
Monitor physiological patient responses throughout all phases of surgical care.
Maintain proficiency in planning, organizing, directing, executing, and evaluating patient care.
Complete required training, education, and orientation on new procedures and processes.
Adhere to current nursing practice standards, professional guidelines, and relevant regulations.

Work Schedule

Three to four 10-hour shifts per week.
On-call responsibilities: 1-2 days per week.
Weekend call: 1 weekend every 4 weeks.

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Certifications

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS/BCLS (Basic Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Experience Requirements

Minimum 3 years of nursing experience.

Additional Information

Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check required.
Reliable transportation is necessary due to lack of public transportation in the rural area.
