Description
Job Opportunity: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (Sleep Tech)
Location: Bismarck, North Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Perform sleep studies and administer treatments for patients with sleep disorders, including CPAP, O2, and Bilevel therapies.
- Utilize equipment such as Natus Xltek sleep testing equipment, Resmed PAP machines, and EPIC One Chart EMR.
- Work overnight shifts, guaranteed 40 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts.
- Sleep lab has 4 beds with a 1 technologist to 2 patients ratio.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in the Sleep Disorders field preferred.
- Licensure/Certifications:
- North Dakota Respiratory Care License
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
- CPR Certification
- Prior Travel Experience: Not specified or required.
Schedule
- 3 nights per week, no weekends or holidays.
Orientation & Training
- One-week orientation working with day sleep technologists to learn workflows, hospital layout, policies, procedures, and software (One Chart-EPIC and sleep/EEG software).
- One week of night shifts with a mentor before working independently.
Additional Information
- Must badge in and out at the facility.
- Scrubs color: Gray.
- Local travelers with permanent addresses within 80 miles are not accepted.
- If previously employed at this facility, must have ended employment at least 6 months prior to submission.
